Georgia-Mae is 5 tomorrow (what do i do about no RSVp's)
I cannot believe it where has time gone?
We have booked a soft play party on Saturday afternoon, with a guy dressed up as a lion you name it and i'm so cross as we don't know who is coming!!
All the invites had RSVP on and our home tel no, but only two people have let me know that their little ones aren't coming! I only know of three other definates (and two are not from school). I just cannot help but thinking how rude it is not to let people know.
I've been at work all this week and Mark has not seen the parents he needs to - do i put a note in an envelope for the children who we have not heard from askign their parents to call us and let us know?
She will be soo upset - if their is only 3 other kiddies and her. (we've invited 9 altogether - just the friends she wanted to come)

Wouldn't worry too much, from personal experience they only reply if they can't make it.

If you have their numbers yu should try calling to confirm if their comming. They may have forgotten to call back. Don't worry about time. I gave Candra's friends pretty short notice, but we got 1 out of the 3 we got a hold of. One of the other friends would have come if she were not allergic to animals. The party went fine even though we had to have it around her friends mom's schedule.
I would just write a little note, and ask for those who havent replied to just let you know as you need the final numbers.
Some of the mums might have just forgtot.
I think it's rude. I had this at the kids halloween party and some of the mums told me yes or no straight away and others would actually say hi to me at school and stuff but not tell me if their kids were coming. Actually even one of my own friends who I see twice a week for toddlers didn't RSVP and about 4 days before the party I text her and asked and she said they weren't coming, sorry she didn't tell me.
I think it's fair enough if you contact them, you need to know for food, cake, party bags etc; and it's courtesy for them to tell you.
I would try to contact them too.... I know with Aaralyn's 5th I had people show up that hadn't RSVP'd either way... that will probably be the case with Georgia-Mae's party too.
I hope it ends up being a wonderful time with lots of her friends there!!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY GEORGIA-MAE!!! 💐
I hate it when people don't get back to you, it isn't just rude it's inconvenient and makes you worry about how many friends are going to be there. I would contact the parents to see who is a yes or a no.
I'm definitely with the majority on this one hun. I would contact them however you can (phone or note) to check. It really is soo rude not to give a reply.
I'm glad i don't have this problem yet as i haven't arranged a party (well with friends) for Lolly. We are just having a family tea party on Saturday for her. I don't think i will get away with that next year though? lol Xx
HAPPY BIRTHDAY GEORGIA-MAE
I hope everyone turns up and the party is a big hit.

Thanks all,
well we decided to put notes in the book bags - although dp forgot the book bag so they never got them!
We did however have a message on the answer machine after school, that one little boys mum left this morning, saying she was so sorry she had not replied sooner and that Nathaniel was really looking forward to it 😀
Here's hoping a few more turn up! 😎
She's had a great day and family have really spolit her with pressies and money!
