Fingers crossed for good news!

we had the council planning officer over today to take pictures of the back garden, so he can make a decision on our extension plans. When he had finished i asked him when would hear and he said we should hear by the 21st January. He said he had to do a couple of sums to check the light to next door (we are semi-detached) wouldn't be affected. But he didn't think it would be. If that is all ok he has said there won't be a problem and we will be able to go ahead! 😀 There have been no complaints and even the parish council haven't bothered giving an opinion, which he says is up to them and if they don't want to bother replying so be it. So if all goes well we should be able to start work on it at the end of the month, as we already have a builder penciled in. Woohoo, Can't wait. Keep your fingers crossed for us pleeeeaaaasssse!!!

Thanks girls, I am sooo excited. We really need the extra space! I have spent every day since chrisstmas 'Spring Cleaning' and being really ruthless throwing away anything that we haven't used in a while and most of the contents of the loft. Even gave all my baby clothes to my friend who is expecting twins. I kept a few sentimental outfits but was still sad giving it all away, even though i know it is going to a good home! 🙁 The house still lookslike a bomb has exploded though, so the extra space it gives us will be a god send! plus i have even made the architect add a built in cupboard to the plans for my ironing board and hoover (Vacuum) etc. Woohoo! i'm soooo excited 😀 . . . OMG how sad am i? 😊 lol Xx
