On nooooo Please go away!

Well dh and I have been walking [with the dog] everyday about 2 miles and stopping at the ballfield above our house to play fetch with Champ, our boxer. As we are trying to get in shape and lose some weight.

Well woke up this morning to pouring rain and they are calling for it for the next 3 days NON stop!

This really bites, I can workout at home but it is hard for Champ to get his running done with all this rain!

I'm sure a few days rest won't hurt. I used to have a dog that hated going out in the rain and would avoid it at all costs.

Yeah the only bad thing is we just got started 😊
Champ doesn't mind the rain 😀

And it is still raining really bad, and still forcasted for all day. They are saying that maybe trees down becasue of the saturated ground and winds from the cold front moving in 😲


Ready for some sun, so we can walk agian! 😀

I would definitely postpone walking if there are high winds and a good chance of tree being blown down.

I hope the weather improves soon. They say it will warm up towards the end of the week.

Yeah I know, that is good news!

The sun is trying to shine!! But the yard is soooo sopping wet yuck 🤢 and it is really windy.

A dog needs exercise whether it is raining or snowing or windy or sunshine. An odd day here or there to miss is ok but not everyday, it is not good for the dog. Put on the water proofs and the boots and go around the block at the very least. IMO you cant be a fair weather walking when you have a dog, you take on the dog you look after it in all weathers
