Wish us luck for monday *housing*

I got a call today from the housing people saying i have to go see them on monday morning but they said they cant disgusss it over phone.

I really hope they have good news for us.

Hope it's good news. Our council sucks, and they're a disgrace. Took them to Ombudsman for the way they dealt with me, and won the case 😀

I still need help, and they still mess up 😉

we got a letter in the post this morning confirming the appyt om the letter it says they have agreed to rehouse us but we must take first offer and they have 4 weesk to sort us out yay.

the council used to mess my mum around really bad, i wasnt prepared to put up with it, was lucky to get my hubby and buy instead.

Im feeling z little confused they werent offering us a flat at all but just to tell us that we are now on the priority list and it could take up to 4 months to find us somewhere

Oh well I hope they find you somewhere soon. We were on the list for two and a half years and the place we have now isn't that special really. But it is bigger than where we are at the moment so we had to take it, couldn't wait any longer. It's a bad situation with housing at the moment isn't it?

youe telling me i live with my dad in a three bed house and and he has my brother too so dad has one room john the pther and me and my kids are all in one room so often than not i end up sleeping on the sofa with the baby so not much fun

Hi, are you on a waiting list to be rehoused?? I remember when I was put on the priority list 16 years ago I managed to get a place fairly quickly but have heard that these days is harder because there is such a shortage of housing.

Hope you both get something soon.

Still no news. they just tell us to bid for flats once a week.

atm we are sleeping in rays parents conservatory as we are ina 2 bedroom bungalow but hios parents leep in separate beds due top his mum havingh back probs and his dad snoring likean ashmatic walrus.

I think this may be why me n aly get a lot of colds ray does too as the air in there at night is so dry. mute try opening window a wee bit tonight.

I couldnt sleep in our conservatory, it gets way too cold in there at night - but way too hot during the day!!

What do you mean by bidding on a flat???

hi tiggy we've gotta do that aswell this bidding thing. but we're in a low banding coz shes not one and isn't classed as a person yet. which i find sooo stupid they take up more room now. hope you get somewhere soon.
