Im getting 2 giant african land snails

tomorrow 😀 theyre only babies atm but i cant wait 😀

Tom looked after 6 of the blooming things durng the summer, they were gross of the highest grossness!!!!

Eeeewwww!!! I wouldnt allow them in the house, they were in the shed and stayed there!

Ooooh they will love that hun! I like those giant snail thingy's. They almost look like they have little faces! It's strange really as i can't stand slugs.....i mean why? What difference does a shell make? lol.
What are you going to name them? I had a tray with some garden snails i had collected in when i was little. They all escaped except one and i named him Brian after the magic roundabout. lol. It was awful though as i had a bowl of water in the tray for him and when i got up one morning brian had drowned. I was devestated! lol Xx

Well I can't say they are my kind of pet lol, but the tank looks nice and inviting for them 😀

I saw these for the first time in Boston. They are great. They had painted all their shells there in the little pet shop and they looked like slow moving works of art! Really cool. I'm sure they'll be great.

Also, they had land crabs. I would really liked to have taken one home with me (don't think customs would have allowed it 😇 ) and again they had painted their shells and they had all different sized ones in their living area so they could swap shells as they grew which was very neat as the crabs themselves were of differing sizes.

At least you won't have to take them out for a walk either 😀

Krista, I think you're talking about hermit crabs... I had them growing up, they are sold in every boardwalk store at the beaches down here!

im a huuuuuuuuge prison break fan and have named them Lincoln, Mahone and Gretchen after characters hehehehe

I used to keep pet snails that I caught in the garden. It was when I was going through a very fanatical football stage (Euro 96 and just after) and I'd name them after different England players and write their footy number on the snails shells with permanant marker! So 1 was David Seaman, 9 was Alan Shearer and so on, I had quite a few!!
