Won't be on until later today...

I start a work/training program today. Just orientation for it today until 1pm and then I'll find out what my hours are for the rest of the training.

You have to enroll in the program to get assistance from the county so I'm hoping this will get my foot in for some interviews that I may not have otherwise had the opportunity... I sure hope so!!!!

I think it's going to be a huge help!! They want to put me in the "fast start" program which bypasses all the training because of the skills that I already have in place (I already have the skills they would be teaching me) so let's hope I get my foot in the door somewhere good paying and permanent!!!! and fast!!!!

I was supposed to go for an assessment test this morning (typing and stuff) but my "job counseler" texted me this morning and asked if I could come in tomorrow morning instead because she didn't have some disc that she needed.... so that gives me some time to brush up on my typing and maybe give myself a little test first. I used to type around 70 wpm... hoping I still can!
