What is gel fuel and where can you buy it??

I am being really blonde and stupid I think!!

My dad bought a buffet food warmer in Lidl's for using on Christmas day \nd you need gel fuel to put in the little pots to heat it. I am being really stupid but what is it? 🤔 It is a new one on me!!!!!! And where can you buy it?
