My good Christmas news!

Yesterday when I went to pick Aaralyn up from school I ran into the Principal of her school. She asked me how things were going as she knows the situation of my employment status. I told her things weren't looking good in the job finding department and then had a little break down 😊 and started crying....

She asked me if I needed any help with Christmas for Aaralyn and I sat my pride right aside and told her I could use all the help I can get right now. She told me to make a list of a few things that Aaralyn needs and a few things that Aaralyn wants and she would take care of it as they have lots of resources for needy families. Instead of being embarrassed or ashamed I felt such hapiness that I didn't have to worry about asking Mike for Christmas shopping money or that I would have hardly anything under the tree for Aaralyn this year. She was so kind to me and told me not to worry and just really made me feel reassured that things would be ok.

Then, Ren and I were talking about that while we were at the Christmas Event last night and she accidently slipped up and let on that her work may be sponsoring Aaralyn and I in a Christmas fund that they do every year where they take donations and sponsor a family to buy Christmas presents for (for the children). That made me feel so good too.... I think I may ask her that they sponsor another family instead since I'm getting help from Aaralyn's school I don't want to take away from someone else who is going through what I am right now 🙁

Between the whole Christmas Event and those to offers of such beautiful kindness I'm really feeling happy, truely happy, about Christmas this year.... finally!! 😀

As much as this world can be a big fat b*gger sometimes, it's things like this that really help keep my faith and hope in humanity 😍

Awww that is great, I know hard times, I am living in one me self.
But I am glad you are in a good way and good luck with job hunting hon, its hard but I am sure you will find one soon 🙂

That's so cool; and I think you still can keep your pride as this has been offered to you it's not like you've asked for it. It's nice to know the school are conciderate of what's going on too.

Thank you guys! Aaralyn's school is soooooo awesome along with the staff there! Her principal even gave me a big hug and told me that Aaralyn is such a joy to have as one of her students 😀

Wow thats brilliant news! I know how relieving it is to get just a little bit of help at times like this, luckily I have a mum and dad who are overly generous when things are really tight and it heps so much!

I'm glad you're surrounded by people with real christmas spirit!

And I hope Aaralyn gets some brilliant presents and has a wonderful christmas!
