My daughter's gone boy crazy already!

😲 I've already told you that she exclaimed that she was in love with Azure (what girl can resist a rockstar right!).

Well, this afternoon when I told her we were going to Gramma D's for dinner she asked if Uncle Tom, Aunt Sarah and the kids would be there... at that point I didn't know so I told her i wasn't sure... she goes on to say "Mommy, now that I'm a little older I should tell you something" I say "ok, tell me 😕 ", she says "you can't tell him, but I love Jack" and I say "that's ok, he's kinda like your cousin so you should love him" she says "no, I mean I love him like I wish I was his girlfriend and he was my boyfriend" 😲 so I say "well, he's like family and you're still WAY too young to have a boyfriend"..... we left it at that.

Mike comes over later and she tells him that she's in love with Jack but I told her she was too young to have a boyfriend. Mike says "That's right!" she tells him, "don't worry, I'm not going to marry him or anything.......... yet" Of course Mike and I both about lost it right then, she could not figure out why we thought that was so funny when she was so serious about it. So Mike basically had the same talk that I did with her.... didn't seem to phase her, she was googley eyed around Jack all evening 😉 ....

Lordy help me, I am in trouble!! 😲 Mike agrees! 😭

Tammy, Jas had on a 'gold' ring this weekend. I asked her where she got it from and she said her boyfriend gave it to her (she only told me after she'd made me promise not to tease her if she did 😊 ).

Her boyfriend!!!??? 😲 She's 10!!!

Apparently though, sometimes he won't talk to her at school and acts silly around her. I think I'll pass that lecture over to her father 😇

hahahahaha sorry tammy, that's soooo funny, and very sweet 😍 ! I think i may have the same problem with Lolly in a couple of years? She loves the boys! lol. Am hoping we won't get too much 'boyfriend' talk until she is at least 16 though 😇 haha Xx

Oh that's so cute with Jas (thinking it's cute cuz it's not my 10 year old daughter getting a ring from a boy!! 😲 ) Krista, did she ever go through the "boys are yucky" stage?? I figured that's about where I'd be with Aaralyn being only 5 but she has not found boys to be yucky at all 😉

Well hun, I kind of got the same problem lol!!

Today as i was taking Charlotte into school, one of her friends mum told me that her little girl had been sitting on her own the day before at lunch (she's a dinner lady there so she sees them all), usually Charlotte and this other girl sit next to each other at lunch, but yesterday Charlotte told her friend she couldn't sit with her because she wanted to sit with her boyfriend!!! 😉 her friend was really upset about it poor little thing.

Haha they are funny. I love the way she corrected you on the type of 'love' she feels. Summer tells me who from her class she is going to marry when she's older.
