What did you find to do for tea? I need some inspiration for tommorow. I couldn't be bothered to cook for me tonight, so i ended up with a snack of rice pudding. How bad is that! lol Xx
We went easy tonight.... grilled cheese sammiches and some of Mike's homemade chicken soup that he brought over yesterday... it was a perfect evening for it!
I don't know how inspiring that will be 🤔
Hmmmm? The chicken soup sounds yummy. I love homemade chicken soup 😀 , but i am at work again tomorrow (so much for the occasional tue/wed afternoon eh! lol) so won't have time to make it 😉 I was just being lazy tonight. Lolly is still a tad poorly and was soooo tired when i got home as she won't take a nap if she is at her aunty's house. She was whingeing like mad, so i just made her cheese on toast for tea which she asked for after a big fuss. Mike said he wasn't hungry, so i didn't really cook at all. Luckily jake had homemade chicken stew (i portion and freeze different meals for him, so i always have something to hand) I was a really lazy mummy tonight though so am thinking i should maybe make an effort for tommorow. Xx
yea, tonight was a pretty lazy dinner night too! Just had to heat the soup grill the grilled cheese sandwich (like a toastie, but in a skillet pretty much) Aaralyn loves them! The chicken soup had lots of veggies to so it was later, but decently healthy, and yummy!! I'm not a soup maker, Mike and his mom both make really good soups!
speaking of his mom.... he showed up with 2 big bags of groceries from her for us.... she had just conveniently cleaned out her cupboards and was going to take it to the food bank.... I think she really just bought extra stuff for us at her last grocery shopping and didn't want to embarrass me by saying... Either way, I thought it was really nice and really appreciated greatly! 😍
And! (sorry forgot to put this in the last one) Mike bought us a microwave oven (we originally thought the kitchen here had one) and he bought a humidifier to help when Aaralyn inevidibly gets her cough again.... He and his whole family are really thoughtful 😍

As for the tea, well i had a very stressful afternoon today (just finding an emergency babysitter and work) got home late (ish) and so lolly had chicken and veg mixed with rice and a tomatoey sauce, Jake had a homemade meal from the freezer and me and mike were naughty again. We shared a frozen pizza and some oven chips after Lolly and Jake were in bed 😊 Oh well is the weekend tommorow, should have more time to get organised! Well unless mikey fancy's sending us some of that chicken and veg soup of course? lol Xx
