what do you parents think of that , in the night garden !
its a new cbeebies programme , im not to sure about that number jacks either my almost three year old loves both programmes but my 16 month old is scared of spooky spoon and that green gloopy thing on number jacks and she is not that keen on that in the night garden either and my 4 year old is not to keen on that in the night garden either.
when teletubbies started back in 1997 my eldest son was just over 2 years old and he liked it , i thought it was a bit weird , then this new one started in the night garden its even weirder , no story no education the whole thing does not make sense. when they made these programmes what was going through there heads ( are they all on drugs ) im sorry but this new one is total rubbish..
if you like the new programme ( in the night garden that is your choice ) but what are the children going to acheive from this , there is no facial expression on the characters . just the naraters voice , and they all have loopy doopy names like , makka wakka , come on bbc , stop wasting our tv license money..
anyway thats my opinion on the matter , tell me what you think of it .
see you from kerry..
well i cant stand either but dominic whos 3 seems to like them and it gives me 10 mins peace lol
xxx
i think childrens programmes are getting too PC and not educational enough anymore 😜
i think its absolutely pointless. what is it teaching children exactly????? and the stupid names lol
id never seen it b4 - it was on this morning and df walked in and said what is this? they should eb using real words to teach children how to talk! lol
I've not sen it at all!
There are some very good educational programmes on CBeebies from what i have seen adni know Georgie loves numberjacks - But the newer ones that are coming out seem to have no educational value to them at all!
with the new 'in the night garden', my first thought was next generation teletubbies. I have never been a fan of them.
I find numberjacks fantastic, my sons number and maths abilities have come on leaps and bounds since that began a few months ago.
I have actually found that the citv channel has some good things on in the day - as it switches to 'tots rule' between 9-3. its nice for them to get a bit more variation in what they are watching.
i am a huge fan of letterland. it obviously doesnt show on tv anymore, but i have all the books, videos, toys etc and find them fantastic.
Numberjacks is very good. My 22 month old can now point to numbers and tell me what they are which I thought was brilliant.
I saw In the Night Garden for the first time the other day and I must admit my first reaction was 'What a load of *******!!'
But my dd was entralled by it and her eyes didn't leave the screen until it had finished. I agree theres no educational value in it that I can see, but is there in a lot of adult programmes that we all watch?! I guess it's ok for our LOs to occasionally watch something just for fun don't you think?
