I'm going to go crazy!!!

George is doing my head in 😠 (I feel so bad fir admitting that though).

He's been a total b 😠 ger for the past week and today he thinks it's funny to drive his sit on car into the dog. I keep putting him on the step and I've now confiscated his car. So now he's just barging into her!! He just laughs when I tell him off and he's been on the step that many times I've lost count. Poor Roxie keeps moving away from him and he just keeps pestering her.

AAAAAAAARRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGG 🙁

dont worry casey does my head in ive even admitted this to my health visitor and she said its quite normal, alot of people feel the same. kids just know how to annoy, seems to be their job.

😘

I'd say if they didn't drive us crazy sometimes we'd be perfect which would make us very abnormal 🤪

It'll get better hun, and then it will get harder again 😉 .... aren't I so encouraging! 😉

Lol Tammy you are but then it's good to know that it's not just him that can be a pain. Charlotte went through a whiny stage but I don't ever remember her being this bad...maybe she's waiting for her teens??

I've put him to bed to see if he wakes up in a better mood...here's hoping lol 🤔 😬

George is probably too young for this at this point but I have a little trick I do with Aaralyn when she's acting up and trying to throw a fit about not getting her way with something. I mimic what she's doing but exaggerate it.... then she'll start laughing at me and I say "I know, it looks ridiculous doesn't it?" usually at that point I've distracted her enough away from what she was going on about and then I can redirect her into something that she can or should be doing.

It might work for George now, should definately work for Charlotte and you'll probably get a good laugh out of her if you try it with George 🙃

i would personally stop him being in the same room as the dog, then i would make sure that he doesnt harm the dog

Don't worry hun. It is most definitely normal. I have days where Lolly drives me barmy! Sounds like she is doing similar things as George, except her attention is her brother 😉 She pokes him, rolls on him and anything else she can when she thinks i am not looking. It's almost like she just can't control her emotions? She can go from hugging to poking in one move! I also do the exagerated copying hun. It'sworth a go, it can stop Lolly in her tracks sometimes! haha

He still keeps picking on the dog 🙁 I keep having to take her out of the room although i feel its unfair, she isn't actually doing anything wrong, she moves away from him but he follows her. I can't get it into George that she doesn't want him to do it, but I have to think of his safety too. I'm not one to say the she will never bite or hurt someone, because I can't talk doggy and one day he may push her too far or frighten her so much that she does go for him, and I'm not going to risk it. I put him on the step but I don't think the step is working with him so I thinking on how to show him that its bad 😬

I dont want to upset you but if it is becoming a BIG problem and you are concerned about the dog and Ben maybe keeping the dog isnt an option. As you said its not fair on the dog but you cant say that he wont push her too far one day and she wont bite and it is not worth the risk.

Mikey went through a stage of constantly annoying our dogs, so instead of putting the dogs in another room, we put Mikey in a little play pen and he was only allowed to roam when he wasn't tormenting the dogs. He was three when he started doing it, so he was definately old enough to know better.
