Anyone - opinions please
Has anyone here done a weeks shop at Alsi, if you have one in your town?
I went there a week ago their veg is lovely, but i havent done a full weeks shop, id value opinions if poss
Is it Aldi hun?
My friend goes there a lot and she has also said their veg is good. She told me to go there for my wrapping paper as she got a huge roll for a £1. There's one about 10 mins from me.
yeah thats what i meant Aldi!!! I spent £72 in there the kids dont seem to concerned that the brands arent the same but so far so good, didhave to go to sainsburys to get the stuff like cheesestrings and waffles and chicken dippers along with ceral bars, so i spent another £20 in there but all in all i had a good shop.
Well see when they get it in their lunchboxes
We don't have an Aldi near us but we do have a Lidl and i've shopped there. I found most things great hun. Theire chunky fish (Haddock or Cod) in breadcrumbs is half the price of sainsbury's own brand and is delicious! Their fruit and veg is also great and i haven't noticed any quality difference in most things 🤔 I even used their own brand washing powder a while ago and it worked just fine and smelt fab 😀 ! Xx
We get all our Veg from there, uch cheaper than any other supermarket, even the veg stalls on the market and it seems to last a while too!
We often get Bacon, Cheese, Eggs, Fruit and bread aswell and before bump i got the odd bottle of wine (the nice stuff is very few and far between)
We've never done a full weeks shop but i definately recommend their veg and fruit 😀

Lidl does have some offers on stuff other than food hun. I bought a heavy based griddle pan the other day in there. It was great and i only paid £7.99 for it. It was 24cm too! The one near us has lots of homewear stuff including towels etc, tools (screwdrivers etc), even some clothes. I like it for a rummage!Haha Xx
