We have just recently started using our fireplace, but we only have been burning it at night.

Well this morning when I got up it was chilly, so I

Started a fire all by myself! 😀

Good job! To be honest, I am not that brave enough. I would wake someone up to start the fireplace and in return I would make him coffee. 😇

I loved having my coal fire (and in the beginning I hated cleaning it out but laterly it didnt bother me) On wet and wild days like we have had the last few days I miss not haing it.

Well done, I think that's really brave. We've got a real fire and I always have a nagging doubt at the back of my mind that I am going to start a chimney fire. I know it's silly really but I can't help being paranoid!
