light early mornings

Do any of you use black out curtains or blinds in your children's rooms? I'm determined that my kids will not get up at 5am this summer 😴 but don't know what I can use to stop the day light shining in. Where can I get special curtains or material or something? 😎

I have been looking at them recently for the light summer nights.
I have seen them in Argos & Ikea but am sure most places that sell blinds also do the black out ones.

Think it will be the only way i can convince my son to go to bed at night when its still light outside 😏

DD had a black out blind in her room at MILs but in our flat our windows are near enough floor to ceiling so am looking out for black out material which u can add to the back of your curtains !

i have just been and bought blank out lining for the same reason. you can buy it straight off the roll at dunelm or anything like that, about 4-6 quid per meter depending on the thinkness.

we have a blackout blind which we got from argos. think it cost bout £20

Yep I'm gonna get some of those too. We have a sloping window at the moment so havn't been able to fit one, but we're moving next month and will definately get one then.6am I can cope with 5am no!!!
