Called the RSPCA today

well james did cause i was really upset

we went to york today to shop and we were just pulling into the car park when we saw a horse and trap thing. it was on the other side of the road when the horse sort of freaked and came over in front of the car. james stopped and this lad came and grabbed the horse and the lad riding the trap started hitting the horse with a whip. i know ppl use whips on horses (i hate it anyway) but this was downright fricking nasty! i almost got out of the car but james told me not to get involved as these lads were part of a gypsey coloney which was right where we were stopped.

james calls the RSPCA and they said theyd let us know what happens. we got a call back couple of hours ago from a lady who was waiting on the police. these gypo gits (im sorry but they make me sick) were known to the RSPCA and only last week had a horse taken away. she said that she had to wait to make sure she had a good back up of police as these ppl were like a lynch mob last week

i so hope they actually go. and i hope they take that poor horse away. i hate animal cruelty. 😀

my sil called rspca on an exotic pet store tother week, they said theyll call with any news on the case.

Well done for making the call, animals can't defend themselves can they. I hate b******s like that, they shouldn't ever be allowed to own animals again and why do they want the pets in the first place if they can't offer them a loving home?

Ooooooh this makes me so f 😠 ing mad! I would lock them up and throw away the key. I hate the way the law works in such cases. Even if it ends in court they usually just get a slap on the wrist and a ban for keeping animals for so many years (if you're lucky) and who keeps check that they actually adhere to these conditions? No-one that's who! God, sorry. It just makes me sooooo 😠

I think unfortunately because they are travellers they probably won't be able to do much, they more than likely will move on before they are due to go to court.

Good for you for calling it in, it annoys me immensely when they leave their horses tied up on the side of the road and stuff, I know they can't always put them where they camp but it's what other people do to them while tied up there on their own too.
