Yummy but serious!!

I have just come back from a little charity thing organised by a friend of a friend, who is recovering from Cancer and who decided to organise an event to raise money for it. It was lovely, there were a group of them who had got together and made absolutely gorgeous one off crafted photo albums, frames, baby keep sakes etc and you could order your own personalised things. There was a BBQ, a tombola, raffle, books, face painting and the most YUMMY YUMMY cake stall. Even glasses of bubbly! It was lovely and the kids were happy with their cakes, faces painted and Summer got a dog balloon animal and Denis a sword balloon. I spent abit on the various things and bought a big cake home too. Hope they do well with their money raising as they put in so much effort.

That sounds like a great event with much fun had by all, even if it did have a very serious meaning behind it. I hope they have raised a load of cash for their cause, it sounds like it is well and truly deserved! 😀 Ps. If you hae any of that cake left, some thrown in this direction would be apreciated! lol Xx
