wonderful in-laws
Well, last week my in-laws took a trip to the shore. MIL calls me and ask what size shirts the boys need in long sleeve, she is going to get them a shirt from the beach. Great they need some long sleeves!
Well they get home and come by the house to give the boys their "shirts" Well she had 2......turtles! 😠
Ya know because that is so close to a t-shirt!
So I have to go out and get a tank, filter, light and everything else! The boys love them but I have a feeling that in a week I will have to do everything for them, like cleaning the tank, fun fun! 🙁
I will post pics of the turtles later if I can. By the way their names are Hulk and Squirt
Gee, I know exactly how you feel. My mom surprised me by bringing a kitten she found over to my place when she brought Candra back home. It's like, o.k. She has a farm with lots of room for an extra kitten.
And also my husband brought home 2 puppies and didn't tell me we were keeping one of them till it was inthe house. Now I'm stuck cleaning up after it and everything most of the day.

I'd have said "How nice, you can keep them at your house as a special treat for the children when they come to visit you".
Well, hmmmmm turtles, t-shirts, they both start with T! LOL 😉
Turtles are great though!! They are alot of work to keep the tank clean and I advise to buy a very expensive good filter because it will be worth it in the long run!

PMSL sorry cassie, i just read your post and it took me ages to work out what was going on.. . . . i thought you meant turtles as in turtle neck t-shirts, couldn't work out what all the fuss was about? and whyyou had named them? lol. How dim am i! Xx

Wow turtles!... i would have also sent them back with the Mil. Think i would have gone slightly mad at her. Nice thought though lol. DH thought it'd be a good idea to get chloe a little bunny, ummm im the one thats stuck cleaning it out weekly and feeding it daily. 😉

I read it as turtlenecks too but I wouldn't have admitted it unless you ladies did..I was convinced it was the meds i am on lol 😊
