I've got a raging sore throat today and noticed very red looking lumps on it this evening and Mike appears to be coming down with flu 🙁

I had a cold when I had Charlotte...it wasn't fun coughing or sneezing after giving birth...OUCH!!!

I had too in labour, but start dosing your self up with vit c and try and get some rest

Thanks girls. Feeling a bit more chipper today but still not 100%. Really not keen to go get antibiotics at this point. Been drinking lots of fresh orange juice and taken the odd paracetamol when my throat feels bad. Pharmacist suggested gargling with salt water...nice NOT!

Putting my feet up and making the most of my last quiet week 😉

Oh you poor things. Get youself in bed with some hot honey and lemon.
Tell Mike to get down to Tesco's as they're offering flu jabs for £10, you just call and make a booking 0800 505 555. I got mine the other day as i can't afford to be ill with little ones running riot.

No sign of her yet. She's waaaayyyyyy too comfy in there to come out. Looks like I'll be off to the hospital on Friday to be induced 😲

I'm been pretty rough. I'm asthmatic and my sore throat turned into a chest infection so I headed to the doctors yesterday and now have antibiotics and steriod tablets. Feeling a bit better today but still coughing a lot, which as we all know, is bad enough at the best of times but being about to pop is just plain horrid 🙁

Anyway, at least I'm on the mend 😀

Awww hun, sounds like you have been having a pretty miserable time of it lately. Coughing is horrible! Hope it isn't stoppig you getting some decent rest at night? Glad to hear you are on the mend though. Who knows maybe baby girl G will arrive tonight or tomorrow sometime and stop you having to be induced? Good luck hun 😘 Xx

Beaware that inducement is not always a quick thing. Hope your body cooperates.

The coughing is keeping me up a bit but it's the constant needing to wee that isn't helping as every time I cough I'm almost going incontinent 😊 Isn't pregnancy a joy 😉

I've heard inducing can be a bit slow. However, it seems at our local hospital they try and whizz you along so providing the gel works or at least softens the cervix, they break your waters and go from there. I'm hoping I'll have her sometime early this weekend. Got to be honest, just excited about meeting her now and at least I know the end is in sight 😀
