was trying to be socialble with one of the other parents from nursery and asked her when she was due?and guess what she said she was not pregnant and just fat (her words) and give me the look of death,think I really upset her,am so mortified so just shoot me down

oh hun, I've done that before too.... years ago I worked at a call center and there would be several woman pregnant at a time in waves there... well, at one point quite a few had had there babies and there was one lady who was still pregnant.... so I thought..... I asked her when she was going to have her baby and she told me, her exact words: "I had him about a year ago" 😲 OMG!!! I was so embarrased I didn't even know what to say.... about 6 months later this lady was in better shape then any one else because she started running and excersizing and lost a whole bunch of weight... I can only look at it positively and hope that I was just the encouragement she'd needed 😉 😊

thanks Tam she was huffing and puffing down the road and had a bump so though she was pregnant,was so wrong lol,but she just gave me this look and went off to tell all her mates so they are all gonna love me now

Oh no! Oops-genuine mistake I guess.
I must admit though I once said that to someone on purpose who I really didn't like and who I knew wasn't pregnant. I just wanted to have a dig at her as she had slept with my mates boyfriend and I thought she was a cow. Yours was a slip up 🤪

well going to ahve to face her everyday at nursery so am just going to smile and sneak off

I got asked that same question a month ago by a lady at Vic's swimming group lol.We both had a good laugh about it but i must say it did make me want to go and hide for a while. 😊
