EEEWWWWW 5 years in this house and I have just discovered
my first field mouse (and it was dead)
Although I have the beach to the front of my house I have the grave yard and fields to the side so I know that chances of having a mouse are high but as I never had any after my first 2 harvests I thought wayhay 😀
Well today my heating was coming on- went to check my pressure and it was low. My boiler is in my kitchen with the pipes boxed in around the bottom. I set about unscrewing the box so I could top up the water and asd I removed it I saw this thing lying there!!!
I couldn't do anything with it so phoned my dad who came around and dealt with it. Now I am terrified I will open my cupboards near the boiler and find more!! 😲
aww i once found a live field mouse in my school bag i got up in the morning and had left my bag in the living room and went in there to check id gotton my homework and out jumped this field mouse which ran across the room and into the fireplace.. glad i checked my bag before i got too school
😲 i used to have a nest were i used to live thought i was imagining things hope it clears up for ya
Thank god you saw it before you felt it - euurrgghhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!! 🤢
If it really was field mouse hun then i'm sure it was prob a single one. It prob got in somewhere and couldn't get back out again and that's why it was dead! We have a nest of field mice under our shed in the back garden but luckily none of them have ever got in the house! It drives the dog mad, sniffing and running round in cirles around the shed though! lol
Where we used to live, we used to find loads in the garden (dead) there was a lot of cats around, so we think one used our garden to stash its hunts (nice!) lol. We had a cellar so we thought we'd have loads, but never had any in there fortunately.
We had a mouse in Marts first house, living under the kitchen units, I think it was still there when we moved out 😊
