fingers crossed for our extension
We had the architect over a week or so back to do some measuring and come up with some plans for an extension (when mikes mum died last year she left us a small amount of cash.) We only live in a 2bed bungalow with a very small lounge and no place even to keep the hoover and ironing board? 🙁 .Anyway we had some ideas drawn up and chose a combination of two ideas. The architect dropped the revised plan off yesterday and we have a builder coming over tonight to look at the plans and give us a quote. I am soooo excited 😀 could you all keep your fingers crossed for us that we can afford what we want? I will be so disappointed if we can't go ahead with it as i absolutely love the plans! Xx

Aww thanks ladies! It will be a great opportunity kelly. We absolutely love where we are living at the mo, the area is nice, it is quiet in the evenings, not too far from town and safe for lolly to play (and Jake in a year or two) and the neighbours are great too (well one side anyway!) We really didn't want to move but we have outgrown the place without an extension really. We are lucky we have a fairly biggish garden so have the room to do it and still have a little garden left for the kids. we are hoping to get a single bedroom and extent the lounge to fit a dining table in. Oh and a built in store cupboard for my ironing board and hoover. I was insistent about this! lol Xx
Oh no, the builder that was meant to be coming over to make a quote didn't turn up! 🙁 was realy looking forward to it too! Hope he shows his face tommorow? xx

He just didn't turn up. He has been recommended to us. Our next door neighbour passed a message to him that we wanted a quote for it and asked him if he wanted us to ring him or him ring us. He sent a message home with the neighbour last night that he would come over tonight and give us the quote and get a copy of the plans, but he didn't show. I hope there was a good reason for it? We didn't even have any tea as we didn't know what time he was coming and didn't want to be in the middle of it when he showed up! 😉
Well that wasn't a very good first impression of him then was it?! Kinda rude I'd say but them maybe something did come up and he didn't have your number and didn't want to bother your neighbor?
I hope he turns up tomorrow! And I hope you guys get some tea now!!!
We just had some toast and marmite (and a cup of ovaltine) lol i sound like i'm 90 hehe. It is 21:40 here now so didn't feel much like cooking and going to bed on a full tummy!

Yay 😀 the builder has just popped over to apologise for last night. Mike is at work but he will be back at around 1pm so the builder will be back then to do that quote! I really hope we can get it done!
was very embarrassing though as i wasn't dressed when he got here, and as anyone who has seen my other post knows i was wearing my Passion killer jammies last night! 😊 lol
