Up poop creek without a paddle

Today DH went to work this morning only to be told that the company he works for has gone into administration, as of today he is no longer empolyed and they will not be paying him for this month.

Thank you very much here's a letter now off to the job centre with you!

This has come four days before what was to be pay day so there is nothing in the bank. I spent the morning phoning everyone who expects to get paid on 1st October to tell them that they won't be.

How dreadful 😲

I hope he can get another job quickly. Just what you need before a weekend when all the places you need to contact are closed!

Good luck with him finding something else shortly.

im sorry, i had to deal with that when my company went into administration, regretfully, the administrators usually put a hold on the bank accs and therefore no-one gets anything, let alone the employees.

im sorry that you are having to deal with this, it will be me soon, my companys closing soon. 😘

Hope your DH manages to find another job soon. I think I would melt down if Mart came home with no job just before payday!!

I work in the construction industry and things are not good if you're in that game 🙁 We are hearing weekly of companies going into administration, it used to be one a year or so!!
