Valentine's Day

Valentine's day is in 3 weeks! Do you all celebrate it, and what do you do if so?

Also, I can actually say that in my entire life I've only ever received one Valentine's card, when I was 15! I still don't know to this day who sent it to me!

This year will be mine and Rob's first Valentine's day together 😍

HINT HINT!!!! lol!! Only joking... 😉

we usually give each other cards and go out for a meal and george usually gives me a red rose for every year weve been together(so b looking for 5 this year)on our first valentines day together he whisked me away for a romantic break in paris!

we only tend to buy each other a card. none of the other stuff that goes with it all.

im usually working to be honest, a pub is quite a busy place on valentines night.

We usually exchange cards and go out for a meal somewhere and that's about it.

Sometimes over the years James has bought me a present or got me roses but only now and again ~ think he does it spur of the moment/if he remembers LOL one of the 2!!

We'll be having a meal together in the house, most likely cook together. Then we light the candles and have some nice music while we eat.

I'm hoping this year we'll buy each other a small present.. im a sucker for romance lol

Mark always moans that it's another money making gimmick!

But he usually gets me a card, and either chocs or flowers and some wine!

I buy him a card and we have a nice meal in!
Depends what i am working really! We were going away the weekend aftr valentines but we are now taking step dd to see the killers as it's her bday!

This year yet again I have my heart sent on flowers for Valentine's Day. I hope I get some but if the last few years are any measure then I will not hold my breath and I will not be to upset.

Dont know what we will be doing - we usually just get eachother cards - last we me, df and dd went out for a meal 🙂

My other half never knows what to get me so we have a tradition of going to a little town near me that has dozens of antiques shops and we have a meal at the pizza express at the bottom of the high street so the kids can be involved and then we go around the shops. He gives me a budget and I find what I like for that amount. Last year it was a framed picture for the bedroom, the year before it was two candlestick holders and a jewellery box, the year before a lamp. It's nice because it's a whole day out and I get exactly what I want!
