A bit worried....

I keep getting emails saying that I'm trying to login to certain sites or trying to activate an account. I've just had on from gone too soon!!! I've had various internet banking emailing me saying people are trying to use my address, although I ignore them because they are most likely phishing emails. I'm still a bit concerned though, someone is obviously trying to use my email if I had an account activation email!!???

I'm thinking I may have to make a seperate email for certain things now? What a flaming hassle thats going to be 🙁

I get these all the times. I am really fed up with the bank ones (just report them as phishing) some companies do sell on your details like your email etc (if they think you will be interested in the other companies policies- when you sign up for things they often have a box to tick to say you don;t want to hear from 3rd parties) and I think some of these activation emails etc are from that kind of company. Everything goes to my junk if it is an unknown email and then occasionally I open my junk folder and scan through in case something shouldn't be there, I never open anything and then I just delete everything.

It is really annoying.

It is annoying hun, I agree! I do get some email so I can get special offers i would use, but I may stop them (although I do try my best to tick the third party one :suspect:)

Over the last week i keep getting confirmation e-mails from South West air lines confirming my flight number and ticket purchases.I keep blocking it as spam.Today when i went to the JP site i had to log in(which i never had to do before even if i havnt been on line for a week or two??)and my screen which is normaly purple was blue????????

I saty way from online banking. Don't want too much info on the computer. Ever since we hooked up the net in our house someones been getting into the main computer system. Because our computer was made and handed down by Robs dad, Rob's been blamed it from download some xxx movies. I don't think so considering the computer doesn't have to be connected to the web to be hacked and fed viruses. (Ours i mean. Not yours)

I had to log in too jo, I just thought it was because i was on Marts profile rather than mine.

I was just probably a bit more worrid than usual because my mil had her computer stolen a few weeks back.

You get the choice to change your colours, if you look above the options for your account, log out etc, you will see 5 coloured squares, if you click on them you can change your background colour x
