Is peri-peri sauce safe during pregnancy?

I heard somewhere that peri-peri sauce might be dangerous in pregnancy but can't find anything online to confirm. Hope not as

Is that like a hot sauce?

I think so but dont take my word on it,im only saying this because i ate it on nearly everything while i was pregnant and my little boy and i are just fine.My sister has been having it and she is 4months pregnant so i guess its ok.?????????

Lol, well I love Nando's piri-piri sauce and I ate it while pregnant so I would think you are safe.

I can't think why it could be unsafe, maybe someone has got a bit mixed up with spicy food supposedly helping bring on labour when you are due 🤔
