the dreaded question employers ask moms

When you go into an interview and the employer asks you in a snobby way "why were you out of work for so long?"how do you respond to that without spilling your life story? Does this happen to anyone else?

employers have to be careful what questions they ask - not sure about that one though - if they've had you cv or application form they should know really and shouldn't need to ask 😕

b4 i had the kids i was in a risky age group as i was always being asked, so youve been married for a while are you thinking having a baby?

i say yes but not right this minute!!!

but as for the gap in the emplyment years, i always said i took a break to bring up my children, i wouldnt elaborate on that
