My trip to London! not a good experience
Ok some of you might know that weve been away for a short break.
We took a couple of days to London, we were having a nice time, but on the bus, some scummy lowlife took my purse!
It had my cards and my driving licence, and also about £35.00 in cash, i know its not much but i hate it that i took the time and energy to ear that for me and my family and then that lowlife b#stard took it.
The bus lurched forward to avoid a cab, we all shot forward and my purse may have fallen out and someone scooped it up, or the girl who was right on top of me when we were standing had her hand in my bag already and saw the opportunity to get it quick, Tom says she had a smile on her face as i was panicking that i hadnt got it.
I hope shes pleased with herself!!!!
So now i have had my privacy taken away from me, ive had to cancel my accounts my cards and my driving licence, i have to fork out for a new one, take new photos and i lost my cash too.
I know its not a lot but she took all i had!!!!!
Some holiday this turned out to be!
Doesnt help with the area either because london is such a busy place, i remember going there in may and had my bag round at the front of my body. Just hope its not put you off going away again
Aww you poor thing. It's happened to my mum a couple of times. She even had her bag nicked from the car in a graveyard while she was putting flowers on her dads grave. It had the last picture that was taken of her dad in the pocket and it took her ages to get over it. Made it worse knowing they almost certainly just through the bag and it's contents in a bush somewhere. Some people are just scum! I'm really sorry your hard earned break didn't turn out the way you hoped but don't let it put you off going away for a few days in the future! Xx
if your going to somewhere like london i always but my bag inside my jacket it makes it harder to get to

i just feel bad knowing that perhap that person is using my money to sniff up whatever substanc or perhaps getting pissed at the pub!!!
the police say theyll only take tha cash, but my licence was in there and it had my details on it!
i never take a bag into central london or the only time i did take my bag i got one with a long strap but it across my body had the strap tight and on the inside of my jacket. in central london i have all i need in the pockets i can feel and i always wear a long top if im going to have anything in my back pockets. unfortuntaly these days its a shame when you cant even go somewhere without having to hide all your personal belongings. i hope this bad experience hasnt put you off from london im not from london but i love it down there
we are going again in September but i learn fast and im not taking a big bag into london again
i shall take what i need and rely on chris to take the small camera

It is nasty what happened - but I don't think it's a sympton of London - anywhere you go nowadays you are at risk of allsorts - have been going to London for years and nothing - my sister has worked there for years and nothing - the city where I feel safest - Liverpool!!!
Down in my town you are regularly hearing of muggings, murders, assaults and rapes and that's in the Garden of England!!!
