booked my physio

i booked my appointment with my physiotherapist for the 19th august for my damaged knee and she making me use a crutch no offence to anyone but now i have to use a crutch i actually feel like a proper cripple though i say im all criptified (my own word) 😭 😢 it slows me down.. my knees all strapped up in a support brace aswell

you must have really done some damage if you are having to use a crutch! I remember hating it when I broke my ankle using crutches, the second time they gave my those horrible under armpit ones, they hurt even more than normal ones.

she only gave me one crutch so im trying to work out how to use it whether to use it with my right arm as i hurt my right leg or to use it with my left arm like she says i should

I hope your knee gets better soon so that you can get rid of that crutch.

What happened to your knee?

I think I had to use it in the opposite arm to the leg I damaged, I had to use the crutch (when i got down to one) in my left arm, as I'd broken my right ankle...hope I didn't confuse you there lol, it was to stop it causing me to put all the peressure on the crutch and making me hobble.

As you step out with your bad leg, take the crutch forward at the same time if that makes any sense?

yes thats what she told me but im right handed so im wobbling all over the place in my left had so im using it in my right hand and just putting light pressure on my toes an the rest of my weight on the crutch if that makes sense.

i tripped over about 8 weeks ago on the uneven path outside my front door and i damaged my tendons in my knee 🙁

That does sound painful. I hope most of the pain is gone already and that if there is any left that it fades soon.

I hope Izzabella is not taking advantage of your slowness. How has she reacted to the brace on your knee and now the crutch?

shes being really good she keeps giving me my crutch when i walk off without it and she tries to use it to copy me aswell when im not using it.

That is so nice of her to remind you when you are walking without your crutch. And I'm smiling as I am thinking of her trying to use the crutch when you don't need it and wanting to be like her mum.

yes izzys very protective over me and after everything that happened i dont blame her.

oh good luck i straine dthe ligaments i think lol in my knee and ended up on crutches for 2 weeks, it was a very painful thing xx
