does anyone else get strangers trying to add you on facebook

the one thing i like about facebook is that its very personal

ive only ever had a few strange guys try to add me

but recently ive had loads of friend requests of guys who i dont know - and my status clearly says that im pregnant (can you see a status before you add ?)

maybe they should add your relationship status to the limited info they show - so that you dont bother happily married people !! 😠

Think it must be you - used to have all sorts of wierdos on Myspace, but so far (touch wood) nothing on Facebook 😀

My profile is very limited on Facebook but I still get people with no connection to me trying to add me. I just ignore them (or you can block them if you prefer). I keep all personal information, photos, etc just for the viewing of 'friends only'. It's one of the things that happens with any social networking site but I've heard that Facebook is nothing like as bad as MySpace for this kind of thing (never had a MySpace account for that very reason).

I did get that with Facebook, but rarely with Myspace, I just ignore them when I do! Or report them as spam if it's obvious that someone is trying to get you to link to whatever site it is for whatever they are selling... usually it's "male models" 😉 trying to sell "themselves" or get you to pay money to look at naked pics of them LOL, but I hardly ever get those requests anymore ( 😢 J/K!!! LOL!!)

i had one just yesterday. he sent me a message claiming i sent him a friends request. yeah right! 😠

i do just ignore them all but its annoying cos i think ohhhh whos that it might be an old school friend

and it turns out to be some young man who looks about 18 😲

i've never had anyone weird try to add me lol.

On myspace I was always getting spammed and weirdo's trying to add me so I cancelled it.

I have had 1 or 2 starnge requests but never young men!!!

ive had a couple of guys try to add me on facebook i just not bothered answering them or i sent them a pm asking who they are and why they are adding me and judge whether to accept them on the response i get from that
