hi
i am a 17 year old mum-to-be and i want it but i dont no if it will split me and my partner up
alot of people wont agree with me, i had my son at 17 so i know how you feel, my thought was balls to him im having my baby! yep we split up, well worth the split
Hey hon,
how does your partner feel about the baby? How far along are you?
There is no easy answer to your problem, the main thing is how you feel about it, if you have support of family and friends etc, and you want the baby, then its do-able, hard as it might be it would be worth it........as for your partner, men all freak out when they are going to be a father and i dont' beleive any of them that say they don't LOL but at the end of the day its you who will carry and deliver the baby and be its mum forever so the decision has to be yours in my opinion........of course no one wants to split from the babies father etc etc and having a baby does come with its own stresses and strains which can put a huge strain on relatonships where the baby was wanted 100% by both parties - but for me being a mum was THE most important and fulfilling thing i have ever, and will ever do - if its something you feel strongly about you will have to make a decision and deal with the fallout IF it happens. Communication between you and your partner is the key.

Hey hon,
of course no one wants to split from the babies father etc etc
i would say that neither mums ought to be there if its gonna cause hassle and just have him......when two families are brought together you have to start as you mean to go on, you and your partner are the ONLY important people at the minute your baby is born.....well i think so anyway 🙂

hiya hun,. i was 16 when i had my 1st baby, she is now 3! i thaught me and her dad were going to split up but we didnt untill 3 yrs later but that was my choice! we had another baby when my daughter was 2 aswell! if you want to chat, send me a private msg hun! i know whats its like being a teen mum cuz im only 19 now! x x x take care hun x x x
The issue of having mums their should be more your choice, not because your bloke doesn't matter but because it's YOUR body that will be going through labour and birth and it's the most intense time of your life. All research shows that a good birthing partner reduces risks of complication and you are less likely to need intervention. For me I only wanted my hubby with me both times but I know two people who say they couldn't have done it without their mum's there. Just focuss on the gorgeous little baby you are growing inside you and prepare for the changes that are coming. Don't even think about the birth until you get nearer to it 👶
I had my mum with me when i was in labour, wouldnt want anyone else (wasnt with my chap then) 😀
