hi i'm gemma, i'm 25 and live in west yorkshire with my hubby and our 2 daughters, katie and abigail.

I struggle to keep my two entertained too, but my eldest really loves to bake/cook, perhaps something you could do with madison. I can only do it when my youngest is asleep but if it was up to katie she's 'help' make tea everyday, lol.

I'm 27 with 3 children Reece 11, Daryl 9 and Kelsey 3.
Keepin little ones amused is a full time job, I have to agree though messy things go down extremely well or play doh is always a big hit, I make my own and it does exactly the same job!

could you tell me the recipe for play doh? i know my mum always made it for us when we were kids, and i know she filled ti with salt so we wouldnt eat it, but i dont know what else goes in!!

Hi hipmomma,

Play Doh;
4 cups flour,
1 cup salt,
4 cups water,
4 tablespoons oil
1/2 cup cream of tartar,
food colouring

mix all ingredients in a saucepan. Cook and stir over low/medium heat until play dough is completely formed and no longer sticky.
Allow to cool slightly before storing in an air tight container.
