Amber did a really sweet thing yesterday :o)

When we came home from work/day care, Amber told Aaralyn she had to wait a minute to go into her room. She came back a minute later and told Aaralyn to come into her room with her. When Amber opened Aaralyn's bedroom door, there was a princess tent set up with Aaralyn's favorate stuffed animals, pillows, and her new sleeping bag 😍

Amber went out and bought the tent for her because this week was camping week at school and the kids could bring a tent with them. Probably about 4 kids of maybe 10 had tents. Aaralyn got a new sleeping bag but she didn't get a tent (and her old one was wrecked and we didn't bring it from Rhode Island). Amber felt bad that she didn't have one so thought she'd change that 😀

See, the girl does have a good, kind heart, sometimes it's just buried under all her anger and anxiety 🙁

She really does and Aaralyn of her too... she can be a bit cranky with Aaralyn sometimes too (but so can I 😊 ) she's recognizing when she's like that more lately and trying to make an effort to be more patient with her (specially at certain times of the month, kwim?) She is extremely protective of Aaralyn, as any big sister would be, even more maybe...

Kirst, her and I have had our ups and downs, but we're all trying to work through that. The whole combined family thing can be tough sometimes, especially when routines that have been set for everyone have to change a bit (or alot)for everyone involved but lately things are on a really good path in that department 😀

yep, I can do pics, but not until she gets her roomed cleaned up... she's working on it at the moment and it's really bad 😲

ummmm cleaning, it's that thing you do when your place looks like mine does and you get off your lazy ass and do something about... you know that horrid mandatory job... that I need to get off my lazy (I won't say it again or might get a waggy) eh hmm butt and do!

I did not mean you being the lazy 😠 btw, as when I re-read that it sounded like I might have been calling you one 😉 I wasn't 😜

I'm off to do some vacuuming (or hoovering would you say?)

I have been getting visitors nearly everyday since i had Sam so i have to keep up with it all 😉
