My high school reunion...

Just was reading an email about a reunion coming up in October. My class never had a 20 year reunion and neither did Mike's class. This reunion is going to be so cool becaus it's for Alumni from classes of 1983 to 1989 (yea, I know, some of ya weren't even born yet 😉 ) so it covers both mine and Mike's graduating years and my sister and Mike's brother's too who were also friends in high school so we can all go together!.

People are gonna freak out when they see Mike and I there together as a couple. We were good friends in school and we hung out with alot of the same people but I don't think anyone would have expected us together 22 years later LOL

I can't wait for it, I think it'll be a blast... people will have changed way more than at a 10 year reunion (which I chose not to go to, went to the beach for the weekend instead).

edited to add that we went to a really small high school in a really small town where every body new every body!!

My class didn't have a 10 or 20 year reunion. Hopefully, something will come up in the future though, as there are some people I would love to see again.

My old high school had a reunion back in June for all pupils past and present. They are closing the old school as it has been rebuilt.

Me and Mart got an invite (we also went to the same school Tammy, although our paths never crossed lol) but we decided that we didn't want to go, not only that it was my friends little girls party 🙂 We were supposidly getting a nosey around the buildings one last time lol, but I can still remember what it was like so didn't think I would be missing much. I think the oldest pupil to go back was aout 90 odd!!!

i only left school in 2002! but changed school midway through seniors... The school that i grew up in is having a reunion next month, i haven't seen any of them for 9 years. kind of nervous but looking forward to it! 😎

aww my old school crap when it comes reunions and the ex pupils have to organise their own which isnt the best idea cos not everyone will know about it i left school in 2001 and alot of us have all got each other on facebook thats amazing for that and thats how our reunions are being organised though they only doing one for pupils in where in the school in the early-mid 90s

Thanks! Yes, it was 20 years for me last year as well. Class of '87 all the way!!!! Or wait the theme of our graduating class was "Heaven in '87"...corny and cheesy, I know... 😀 Bryan Adams song "Heaven" was our theme song, too...what a bunch of corndogs we were! 😀 Those were the days though. Wouldn't trade them for anything!

I went to an orchestra reunion last year (10 years since we went to Germany as a youth Orchestra for our local area) and I had a great time.

Gosh, just seeing that song mentioned brings back memories!! I don't remember what our theme was... probably "You gotta fight for your right to party" by the Beastie Boys!! I remember having a little chant that went something like "sex is great, something, (don't remember what??) is heaven, we're the class of '87!! LOL... we were quite the "partying" school in a very "partying" town... did you ever hear of Poolesville, MD when you were in WV??
