went to the docs today

as some of you know about 6 weeks ago i tripped on the uneven path outside my house and banged my knee well i been having lots of problems with the knee since so 6 weeks later i decided to go to the doctors just to get it checked well it turns out that i have actually done more than i orginally thought and i not bruised the bone or maybe chipped it no.. i damaged the tendons in my knee and now have to go for physio and am in alot of discomfort with it and am going to have to go strong painkillers... i am so annoyed and deliberating whether to contact a lawyer and sue...

I'm not one of those "sue happy" people but hell yea I would contact a lawyer!! Especially if it's cost you any pay from work!

im not a sue happy person either and i used to work for a PI firm as a secretary and i used to look at the cases.. im already off work with depression but was planning to go back but my job involves alot of standing and walking around which im not going to be able to do with my knee as i went out with my friend this afternoon afte rthe docs and we wlaked around a fair bit and i got back to their house in agongy and my mates dad gave me some of his codis but they are very easy to OD on.. great huh!?

I think you have a good and valid case there... maybe you could get a free consultation and see what a lawyer has to say, though I'm pretty sure it would be agreed that you have a good case. Good luck with all of it babe! 😘

only dwnside is ill be suing my landlady which may make things awkward

If she's got insurance (here it would be mandatory, I'm assuming there too) then it may be covered and it would be her insurance company that would pay, however her premium would probably go up for something like that.

Wasn't it something that you'd noticed before and asked her to fix and it got neglected or am I wrong about that??

Didn't you slip on it before hun? I would probably at least get some legal advice about it, do you rent through an agency? If so you could complain through them, say you refuse to pay full rent until it is sorted??

i have no idea how i managed just got on with it i guess since i went to the docs and she was playing with it i havent been walk properly on it now and even sitting with my knee bent like you do is painful for me

i dont rent through an agengy its a private renting thats my problem i got.
