have you gone off cycling the length of Britain and not told us you were away?

No, not yet. I've had a lot going on. So paraphrasing to stop you falling asleep.
A woman pulled out of a juntion in front of me a few weeks ago causing me to crash into the side of her car in mine. Insurance and hire cars has to be sorted etc. Anyway got my car back now. I will refrain from making any comments about women drivers considering I will be massively out numbered!!!
Work has had me all over the country the past few weeks; Chester, Dorset, London, Manchester, Wilmslow, Darlington, Bridgend, Portsmouth. I think you get the idea.
Last weekend I did the last of my big training rides with my brother and sister. 70 miles on Saturday and another 70 on Sunday. Both days we carried all the kit we will for the actual ride. I feel like strapping a big bag of compost to my brother and sister so that they can ride with the same weight that I do every time!!! Maybe I will finally start to lose some weight when we do the actual ride.
Then this week I have been working in Spain. Got home at 0030 this morning.
Have to go to Italy next week and Belgium the week after.
The ride begins on 10th August. 17 days and counting.....

17days is not long. You will have to post your route and if any of us are on your way Im sure we will come and wave to you.
Not busy at all. Off to the gym now that I have finished another day of work. I need a holiday!!!

School starts early in Scotland!! Ours don't go back until the first week in September. Got to feel sorry for the Spanish though, their kids are off from mid-June to mid-September.
