Nipple sheilds (has or does anyone use them???)

I am going to buy a nipple sheild ,im hoping to breast feed this time (with out the pain)just wondered if anyone has used them before and does it really stop nipples from getting to sensative,cracking,bleeding etc ???

i used them for tom, i only did it for a few days though, i found them comfortable for a while.

you have to make sure that they are positioned correctly or baby will be sucking on empty silicone!

Thanks Lucy i am willing to try anything to make it as comfortable as possible, last time it felt like razor blades slicing my nipples everytime i fed. 😲
