If you have Scottish blood
Get saving now and come to Scotland next year.
2009 is when Scotland will host its first ever Homecoming year which has been created and timed to mark the 250th anniversary of Scotland's national poet, the international cultural icon, Robert Burns. The idea is to get 'Scots' to come home and celebrate

Hmmm, I do believe my maternal Grandpa was half Scottish (is Thompson a common name there?)... good excuse as any to get over there and here some bag pipes and even meet you and Joseph... we have talked about a trip to Europe in the next couple years but don't know if financially we're being realistic right now, we'll have to see how things go....
