Other mums/friends

Other than online friends do you talk to anyone else that a parent/friend that lives nr u? I only have my sister she lives 2 secs away from me, she has got 3 kids and a little girl on the why ( 😀 )
I have my best friend she is my lifesaver she comes every saturday and we have out "chats" other then them i dont talk to anyone else around me, wish i had more friends that live nr me

I know, I find it hard to find people to meet who also have children. I have two friends locally, and another elsewhere, but other than that most of my firends are childless as yet...and whether anyone means for it to happen or not, that difference can put a wedge in friendships. Peoples lives become so different.

I'm going to start going to a local group, and hopefully get Josh into some stuff at the leisure centre over summer, so hopefully get to meet some more people that way!

Theres mum at the school gate but me and my sis wouldnt dream of talking to them, well we say "hello" like u do, to some of them but they swear shout talk about other ppl and i can imagine they talk about me, so me and my sis keep to ourselfs

i am blessed with a small circle of friends who i can tell almost anything to, and 3 who i could tell totally anything to, and have, and they all have kids........my kids play with their kids etc etc, we make sure we get together at least once a week, for lunch or coffee or both lol and then vodka therapy night on fridays too...its really important to be just *ME* for a while, not someones mum or partner, and my friends enable me, (and they do too) to do this.......as i said im blessed.

i have 5 close m8s, but only 2 have kids, so its hard to see them and they all live about 10 miles away! so only people i really talk to are you lot, lol and then my m8s on the phone!

witchypoo and I share some friends (one of whom I have been friends with like forever) and she is right to say she is blessed to have them. Although I dont see much of her or her partner just now, I always think of them and would be lost if they werent 3 miles out the road. 😀

all my family live 300 miles away 🙁 im not very good at making friends either. i do speak to ppl i just dont get together with anyone
