hhhmmmmmm... A TURTLE!!!
Bout an hour ago I was letting one of the cats out when someone stopped in the middle of the road (in their car) and jumped out and ran to the front of the car.... my heart sank thinking he'd hit one of my cats or something... then he asks me if we've lost a turtle... ummmm no, I reply but can I check him out?
I've had turtles growing up and even into my adult hood up until I moved to RI 8 1/2 yrs ago, I adopted my two that I had out to a friend of mine. So, lately Aaralyn's been asking for a turtle for a pet....
Figures the day we're going on vacation we find a turtle and Mike's not coming back until weds or thurs. Aaralyn is being completely understanding about the fact that we have to let him go before we leave this afternoon.
I'll post some pics of him later (when I get to RI) he's chillin on a rock inside a cooler with some water after he got a good soaking and cooling off... He's so cool 😎

awwwwwwwwwwwwww bless. is there a rescue centre where you could take him? poor thing
He's ok, the guy didn't hit him with the car, he stopped just to get him out of the road. We're gonna take him down by the water before we go and let him go there and hopefully he'll stay out of the road!!
Or, I might try to talk my friend into taking care of him till we get back 😉
She's on her way now to pick us up to take us to the airport...
