Amber is now a graduate!

She graduated 89th in her class of 600-ish. Mike is so happy to have all the highschool drama done with now and Amber is happy to be out of school atleast until she goes to community college in the fall.

We had a huge party at Mike's brother's house. He has a pool and jacuzzi and it was the hottest day that we've had so far so it was a great day for a pool party. Amber had lots of friends and family there and she seemed to have a pretty good day. I thought it was sweet of her too to share her day with her friend Katie who just turned 16 so it was a combination graduate and sweet 16 party. We've had a house full of teenagers going on for days now as several of Amber's friends have been staying over night 😉 ...

Aaralyn had a blast in the pool, she got in when we got there and wouldn't get out till I told her she had to eat something and then she was right back in again, she LOVES the water!!

Wednesday Mike and Amber are going away to Costa Rica, a trip they've had in plans since before we met and I have to work this week so we're not going... but... on Saturday Aaralyn and I will be gettin on a plane and headin up to Rhode Island for a week so we can see our friends up there and also Aaralyn can spend some time with her Dad and her family up there. Her Grandma is sooooooooo excited to see her since she's been so lonely since her husband died a month or so ago.

Just gotta get through this week and then off for vacation!!! I can't wait to see my bestest friends up there that I haven't seen since January!! 😀 😀

I know, can you believe it?? I was shocked too when I realized the party was over and hadn't taken a single pic (lots of other people did though!)

I didn't actually go to the graduation ceremony because Amber was only allowed 6 tickets so it was Mikey, her mom and her maternal and paternal Grandparents (I didn't mind though, the ceremonies can be a bit boring and long). Mike said he cried when she walked across and got her diploma so I would have been a crying blubbering idiot there anyway LOL 😉
