Why do I worry???

With the heatwave we've been having Martha has gone to school with a hat and smothered in sun cream.
A letter came back last week asking that children wear a hat and have sunscreen and also that if they wear sandals that they cover the toes and heels. Now Martha has been wearing her birkinstock sandals with a buckle, and we're going shopping tonight for other sandals. I was worried about sending her to school for 2 days in these sandals!
This morning on the school walk I saw about 30 hats (her class size is 30 let alone the rest of the school) and flip flops with school uniform Don't know why I'm worrying 😉

It's amazing sometimes how quickly we rush out to buy new things to comply with school policy but I guess not everyone can do that so it's not surprising to see things that aren't 'correct uniform' at times 😀
