Need someone to talk to, feeling down
u may have read my thread about my daughter the other day, well thats on my mind and also
my mu mis moving away next year 200 miles. To somerset.
We live 10 mins away from each other and we see each other all the time. We are very close (am only child) and shes like my friend aswell. We always having a laugh together and hes always there for me.
I know i can go and visit her and such but i can't just pop round when i want. I'm going to miss her so much and that will be it for me. I have no one else here. All my friends I lost when i was with my ex, and all i will have is me my kids and b.friend. Yes i love them to bits, but i'll noone else. What we fall out, who do i go to? Sorry you may think i am being silly, but my mum and me are very close and I am going to miss her very much. I cry just thinking about it. .....need to pull myself together lol. sorry just needed to get that out. I tend to bottle things up till I can't hold it in any more and find it hard to talk to mum/boyfriend or anyone is person really.
You are not being silly hun. I havent been on for a day or 2 so havent caught up with all posts inc the one about your daughter.
😘 It will be hard to begin with not having you mum so close but you will adapt and there is always the phone- get a deal where it costs nothing after 7pm to phone a landline and then chat for hours. If your mum is computer literate- get webcams. Things will become easier and we are here for you aswell 😘
thank you. we got webcams, so can do that and talk online and i got free landline calls all day so that not a prob.
Just want to be near her 🙁
But you will all have to keep me going lol when i in need.
It wont be till next year.
Right am cheering myself up now and going to buy some chocolate to munch on.
I agree with alex you're not being daft hon, seriously im close to my mum too, i moved 500 miles when she did cos i needed to be near her.
It will be really hard, but with phones etc she'll always be there, on the end of the phone if you need her, and time will make things easier 😘
maybe now is the time to join something to make new friends, toddler group, something local that you can get your teeth into and maybe find a friend who will fill in a little for your mum....and hey we're here to talk to too, not the same i know tho.
hayzmagik for the last three years my Mom has been about 500 miles away. I know just how you feel about wanting to be close.
It takes time to adjust and then you devlope a routine of contact.
When my husbands career moved us away my Mom and I were bearly speaking. Distance can heal a broken relationship and strengthen a solid one.
You will be just fine.
PM me any time if your dealing with the missing Mom Blues.
😘
Thank you ladies for your kind words and advice. Expect to see loads of me next year and to hear from me moaning lol.
