has anyone heard of a band called..

army of freshman?? im going to see them in june but i never really heard of them or heard any of there stuff but i agreed to take my brother and his mate to go and see them and in return they braught we a ticket to the gig otherwise id have to cross the severn bridge twice and its a toll bridge and the last time i crossed the toll was £5 😲

so was wondering if anyone had herd them and what they r like?

i thinktheyre one of these bands who go round local mosh's and pubs to try get a name,have a look on the NME website,that will have all well known and the next best thing bands on it... i follow a few bands, my friends band 'The Rebounds' and me and my mate have been to see 'Glasvegas' a few times - theyre said to be the next big thing on our tvs for this year.

The way me and my mate see it is,get out there and seeem while you can as these bands who are said to be the next whoever,theres no way you will afford a ticket in yrs to come! and at least you can say 'you knew them before they were famous' haha!!

lol yeah the last gig i went to was iron maiden in dec 2003 in london these guys are playing in a town just over the water from me so itll take me like 30mins to drive there my brother is kinda into the emo scene and i thaught it was nice of them to buy me a ticket and they even going to pay my bridge toll, i think there grateful as they are going inbetween there gcses so itll be a great break from exams i think ill have to google them but if anyone has heard of them and seen them live ill be greatful for your personal opinions as when i went to see maiden they had ffaf (funeral for a friend) playing and i thaught there songs were ok on kerrang but when they were live they were crap in my opinion

another thing,if u have myspace search for them on there... EVERY band has a myspace to get themselves noticed.

they are mighty fine aint they! wonder why thats their band name tho! round here 'freshmen' means 'gay'. kev came home from footy training once saying theyd played a team called 'freshboys'!!

lol true though they are american and words mean different things abroad to what they mean over here like when i chat to my mate in australia i say a word n it has a complete different meaning over there.. it can get quite amusing!!

My brother is in a band a bit like that. He's on Myspace too. I've to admit though I've never heard him play 😊 As far as i know its a really good local band and they've travelled as far as Oxford to do a gig.

My bil is in a band too but I'm not so sure they're as good as my bro's lol. he only seems to do one or two pubs.

Last time I went to a gig was about 2 yrs ago LMAO, they were pants We were killing ourselves because they had a few 'groupies' at the front who obviously just fancied them because they were the only ones cheering. The bloke behind the bar even apologised about the 'entertainment' 😀 😉

crikey last gig i went too was at the men and it was clubland bump to big to bop though....lol 🙁

HMmmmm, I've never heard of them, I'll have to check out their myspace today when I get home from work... I love finding good new music that I've never heard of before on myspace 😀
