My sil delema continued from easter (update)

I dont know if you all remember i posted about a little hissy fit my sil threw about Easter time??(it got wiped off when jp crashed)anyway i still havnt heard from her and i havnt bothered calling her either as what she did hurt me and i feel some what disrespected (as i thought she was a good friend & confidant).
Anyway my dh wants to go and visit his younger brother whom lives next door to his older brother and his wife (my sil)but i know when we get there my ds will want to go and see his cousins who he adores.I wont stop him but that means i have to go to!!
I want to be as mature as possible through out this first encounter face to face with her more for the kids sake than my or her own benefit but what do i say???
I havnt done anything wrong but by the looks of things she thinks that what she has done and said is acceptable or she will act as though she is hard done by or nothing at all happen (we normally call each other a few times a week)its now been 7 weeks since we last spoke 😲 she is a very opinionated person and i think its partly my fault for letting her walk all over me for the past seven years as when i dont agree with her on something she gets so narky and bitchy that i just have to agree to keep the peace and this time i stood my ground!!!I feel i did the right thing and i didnt do anything to offend i just ended a coversation that was getting nasty infront of the kids by saying goodnight and walking away.some advise i would apprecciate as i am soft skined at times and need lots of encouragement. lol 😭

Good luck hun, I don't know what to tell you other than keep you head high, be who you are and don't back down to her. I'm not saying start a confrontation but if she brings anything back up again maybe it will be an opportunity to clear the air and get back on track with the friendship or atleast to the point of talking to each other again.

I hope it's not horribly uncomfortable for you when you guys meet again 😘

Hun I can only agree with what Tammy has said.

Thinking of you hun, I think you have a lot of guts to still go round there and to still think of Vic and let him see his cousins, even though it's going to be hard for you 😀 💐

Thanks guys,we didnt end up going over the weekend as we got buisy doing things around the house,my dh also said he didnt want to put me in a akward situation while i was pregnant (she can get quite nasty)as he was scared he would say something not so nice to her and the last thing he wants is to argue with his brother. We are still going to go maybe next week so i will let you know how it all goes.xx
