my sister and my HV

my sister,as iv mentioned before,is a nurse and the past week she has been in training and out in the 'community' as they call it,with my health visitor! now i aint seen my health visitor for absolutely ages,in fact, i think the last time was ethans 1yr check!! but my hv has been asking about me and my sis has told her about bump and my hv has given my sister books and printouts with all this info on about rainsing 2 children under 3,keeping ethan involved with pregnancy and baby,and loadsa other things! iv had a read and most of it is common sense really but theres some really good stuff in it.theres also a invite to some club abit like a creche thing that does things for the parents aswel as the kids,only its miles away,in meir (even if it does claim to be my local one!) so i dont think il be going there!

sounds really good hun my hv couldnt care less as i still see mine once a week to get charly weighed they've not offered any help or advice or anything! is there a website on any of the leaflets?

give me 2 secsand il look as sometimes iv noticed little addys at the bottom when iv been given info before

the one that seems really useful (the one that tells u how to get your child envolved with a new baby) doesnt have a site... but if its ok with rob,i could scan them and either put em on here myself,or see if theres a way he could actually put a section up of them,they do have the name of the book the been copyed out of tho,its called 'positive parenting - triple p; positive parenting program'

I saw my HV every week until Joseph was 6 weeks old, then at 8, 12 and 16wks for jabs and after that I had to make an appoinment to have him weight etc, last time she saw him properly was at his hearing test when he was 9mths old, all his boosters and flu jabs have been done by the practice nurse. My pal who had her 2nd at the same time I had Joseph didnt see her as much as me!!
