OMG! what is it about bag pipes??

Every day at 12 noon the Midshipman all have formation and lots of days I'm heading to the resturant to get lunch and during formation there's a drum corp and bag pipes, the sound of bag pipes have always touched me in a way other instruments don't, just the sound of them, kind of haunting and beautiful, anyway, blah blah, today I'm walking by the formation ceremony and I get all teared up hearing the bag pipes 😢 and then full on tears streaming as I'm walking by people... WTF?? I am PMS-ing big time but geeeeeezzzz, I felt stupid LOL 😢 🤪 🙃

i find bagpipes annoying! i once had a blow and just made this fart noise! pmsl!! my dad loves pan pipes! he has all the pan pipe cds - modern our day songsbut instead of the instruments like guitars and what not its all done with panpipes!

I love the sound of panpipes too!!

ummm, remind me to not have you play the bag pipes for me ok, you might turn me off of them forever!! 😜

I love the bagpipes such beautiful sounding instruments. Hearing the lone piper at the tatoo makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up

Me too!!!!.... not exactly sure what you just said but I think it's when there's just one playing alone before the other pipers join in?? (are they called pipers? or did I just make that up?) 🤔

it is spooky at the Tattoo when the loner piper stands at the top if Edinburgh castle playing (in the dark)

pmsl! and to think round here the closest we get to music in the street is some drunk with a recorder, his dog (asleep) and an upturned cap sitting in the subway!
