Iv Updated My Blog
this is my little bit so i can let you all know when iv updated my blog.
im following my pregnancy and thort some of you might be interested in following it with me - its also for my refernce too to look back on.
il make a note in here when iv added to it so you all know and can go and peek if your interested.
just read your blog, so were u live, your midwife arranges your scan etc?
yeh why? do u have to do it urself??
where i live, you go the doctors and say "ive done a preg test and im preg" then they ask you when you think your last period was, work out when your due date might be and ask what hospital you want to be seen at. then you get a letter from the hospital with an app to go for a scan (its usually between you being 8 and 12 weeks)
mrsbonjovi said:It used to be like that here, at 12 weeks you would have your first booking appointment with the mw and then have a scan, but just after I had George they changed it so you just go straight to the mw now.

here u see the doc, then usually the same week the midwife - she then phones up the hospital while your there and gets you an appointment usually for the next week.
i wouldnt like to have to wait round for a letter! incase i never got one!
at this docs tho i didnt need to see the doctor - i could of just booked with the midwife instead!
yeah suppose thats just as good.. only problem i got is the midwives i see at the doctors are from a different hospital from were my baby will be born. my midwife team are from the local hospital but i didnt want my baby born there because even though the midwives are really lovely, no one ever seem to come out the maternity unit without bein cut open in some way or another
whatever is the safest option for my baby is ok for me. ethans heart stopped beating so i had no choice but to be wheeled to theatre for an emergency c-section! theres nothing that gets to me more than people who WANT a section!! im gonna do my best (as long as baby is safe) so go natural this time.id love to do it and envy those who been given the oppurtunity to do so!! theres so many mothers these days that arent given the chance to go natural.

This time i am preparing myself for a natural birth and i cant wait ð (unless the same as last time occurs again) "bring it on pain and all"lol.
i didnt mean cut open as in a c section, i meant its no one ever gets a straight forward birth in there and 3 of my mates have come out of there with 3rd degree tears etc because of not being delivered properly (sorry, should of explained) xx
I think it's a great idea to keep a blog. I kept a complete diary when I was pregnant with my daughter, and I look at it now to see how things compare, even down to the scans ð
It's great to put your thoughts on paper and it does make for pretty amazing reading at times. I kept the last one until she was about 18 months old then stopped it. Now I wish I'd kept it up ðĪŠ
I'll stop by and take a peek at your blog. I'm busy writing pregnancy diary no. 2 myself ð
kristag said:i too began to write a pregnancy diary of ethan - only as i had a pretty rough job and my boss was a moo (hated me being preg) she had me working 6am-6pm shifts 5 days a week (4 weekdays 1 weekend day) and i was so exhausted i just drifted off from my diary when i was about 6months preg... something i regret doing and im gutted i never continued with it!! ð
