hi All...I'm new here, just thought i'd say hi. I'm expecting my first baby, all very new to me, and i'm only 6 weeks gone, so due mid october. xxxx 🙂

Ive not been with my partner that long( but weve known each other for years), and the pregnancy was unplanned, however, after the initial shock we are both delighted about our baby and both looking forward to its arrival later this year. We're both 28, almost 29, and i still cant believe i'm gonna be a mummy!! Ive always wanted children, but always imagined it would be planned, however I'm still really excited and nervous too. Im getting a little morning sickness and i'm extremely tired, doesnt help that im starting night shift tonight!! otherwise i feel ok, but some days i feel really emotional and could just cry at the silliest of things...is this normal? i guess its just the hormones!! Also, about a week ago, i kind of felt like my period was coming, achy legs a little tummy ache...is this normal too? Today i have a headache and although ive read its safe to take paracetamol, i'd rather not, has anyone else taken it? i guess maybe i'm a little paranoid im gonna harm my little one, but i'd rather not take the chance, its the most precious thing in our lives right now. anyhow, sorry for rattling on...... xxxx 😲

aw congrats emma thats me with my writing im not pregnant. i have a wee girl summer 2yrs. my sister has 5 (triplets) will be 2 in march so thers plenty kids in the family but id love a wee boy x (im gettn all broody now lol)

Also...forgot to say...my sis in law is expecting their 2nd baby 1 month before me...so 2 new babes in our family!! 😀

everythin u said is very normal 🙂 wooo hoo two new babies wicked.
when kieran was just born my brother's gf fell pregnant but she lost the baby a month later and when i was pregnant with kyle my brother inlaws wife fell pregnant but she had an ectopic pregnancy a month later 🙁 so no new babies in my family only me makin them lol xxx

Aww thanks hun...you read so much sometimes you just dont know what to expect lol!! And as yet...apart from my BF noone knows im pregnant..so noone to discuss these things...my bf is very good tho, he always listens and gives me what he thinks is the best advice, im so lucky to have such a wonderful man to be the daddy of our child!! he's always ther with a smile and gives me lots of attention and makes me feel great...he thinks i should tell my work tho, so they understand why i dont wanna do heavy stuff or when im feeloing a little dizzy or sick and need a break...i know he's right, but im scared to tell them incase they judge me (cuz me and the bf not been together that long), but there gonna know anyway, and im not ashamed to say were having a baby!! I guess i do worry what people think, which is only natural i guess its these hormones saying hello again!! lol xx
