asda
i dont know how many people find it annoying but people who park in baby spaces when they dont have a baby or a child in a carseat
i also dont know if anyone has posted what im about to post i just found this out the other day.
My local asda has now brought in that anyone caught parking in a child space without a child under the age of 12 or that doesnt need a carseat will recieve a £60 fine and that apparently all asdas across the country will have this into affect by the end of march.
i think if they can inforce this it will be brilliant as the ammount of times i have gone into the supermarket and the last child and mother space has been taken by some idiot who has no child and no car seat winds me up so much.
i hope other supermarkets will follow soon with the same policy.
whats other mums or dads views on this?
well i was sittin in the car waitin for my mum and the ammount of ppl parkin in the parent/baby and dissabled was unreal, i dont think i saw one person park there that had a child 😲 it was mad. i was so pissed because we dont ever get the parent/baby parkin sucks xxx
i agree with this. too many ppl dont give a mokneys
thing is though are they going to have ppl especially for this job? to walk round the car park watching ppl park in the correct spaces? cant see that many ppl wanting to do that, but i do think its a great idea.
thats true i dont there will be anyone watchin unless they put a cam there too scared them xxx
well my local tesco now have people walking around the store with signs saying here to help 🤔
theyll probably do it as part of the trolley pushers job or summat
I do get quite annoyed with people parking in the parent with baby spots, but even more so when I see non-handicap people parking in handicap spots.. that annoys me to know end and I've been known to make a comment if I see someone doing it 😠
Oh good I think all super markets should do this as it's really hard to park in a normal space when you are getting little ones out of the car because you need to swing the doors open wider don't you.

i havent heard this but it will be great if they do bring it out! our asda annoys me - although i dont tend to shop at asda as i think its the most expensive supermarket! but iv noticed that the staff park in the parent and child spaces just to be closer!!!
If i see people do it i always say to Mark in their earshot - 'ooooh look invisible children - got to get me one of those!!!' 😎 😀
And i have also walked up to a woman and asked her why she felt she could park their adn she said her kids were in the car (we followed her in adn she took the last space) so i said she better run out to the car as someone mustve taken them as they weren't there now. SHE WAS SOOO EMBARRASED 😜
And one time 😊 I GOT SOME LIPPY OUT AND WROTE HAVE YOU SEEN MY KIDS ON A CAR WINDOW.... 😊 😊
But it makes me soooo angry 😠
And i also hate it when people pull in those spaces whilst theire wife/hubby nip in and they sit in the car 🤔

my local tesco is terrible for parent parking, people with no kids just blatently park in the kids spaces even though they c you with kids in car. people with child seats but no kids in them are just as bad, i never park in a kids space if i havent got katie in the car
I have heard this about Asda and think its a bloomin good idea!
I childmind and regularly have 3 under 5's with me if we go to Tescos to do a bit of shopping and am sick of never getting a space because others with no kids have knicked them!!
More stores should do something to discourage car owners from parking in M&B spaces when they dont need too!
x
They trialed it at our Asda, they actually have a proper parking attendant who walks around with a ticket machine.I saw a work van getting a ticket the last time we went down hehe!!!

I think if they moved the parking spaces slightly away from the shop door that would stop people using them as much. I like the extra parking room for opening the door wide, I dont care if it is at the door or the far end of the car park I just like the space. Disabled spaces are different as they need to be nearer the door but IMO parent and child spaces do NOT have to be next to the door.

I think the main culprits of parking in the parent parking spaces are those bloody inconsiderate 4x4 drivers than need to learn to park their cars 😛
